Hi there, I’m Vix
I’m a Product Design Leader with 20 years’ experience creating digital products and services for start-ups and global organisations.
I’ve never been particularly interested in choosing between strategy and craft. I like shaping the direction, getting into the detail and working with teams to turn ambitious ideas into beautifully crafted experiences.
My background spans product strategy, research, UX/UI, service design and delivery, which means I’m comfortable moving between the big picture and the detail. I’ve led multidisciplinary design teams, shaped product and experience strategy, built design systems and helped organisations strengthen the way they use design.
I’m a hands-on leader. I stay close to the work, set a high bar for craft and create the conditions for teams to do their best thinking. For me, good design leadership is about bringing people together, creating clarity and helping teams turn complexity into something thoughtful, useful and real.
I love being wherever the creativity is happening.
When I’m not online, I love to hike, whether that’s tackling rugged mountains or finding a steep edge to peer over. Being outside brings me lots of joy.
Travel has taken me on some unforgettable adventures, from exploring new cultures to spending time in India deepening my yoga practice and training as a yoga teacher. Namaste, folks! 🙏
